The backyard continues... I don't know how to add one of those voting polls onto the blog and I'm too lazy to figure it out right now. So, you can just let me know in your comment whether you think this grass is real or fake.
Since it would take a miracle to keep grass green in AZ (and Houston) in summertime, I vote fake. But secretly I hope it is real, so you can tell us how to salvage ours.
At any rate, your yard looks great! It seems like you guys have done so much to make your house even more gorgeous! Inspiring.
Erica is cuter all the time. I'll bet Ian will have lots of stiff competition in winning her hand. We have to seal this marriage deal now! Ian is totally on board - he wanted to watch Erica "walking" over and over and over and over.
I love that you have any type of grass! It looks great! One of the hardest things living in Vegas is the "Rock Scape". Gotta love those rocks. Oh, how I miss Cali.
fake. we have the real stuff & though it is currently green, yours looks too green to be real in the heat of the az summer. i know the tollers enjoy their fake grass & having walked on it in bare feet, it feels pretty good too.
I'm going to vote fake--it looks almost too perfect in the picture with Kayla!! But it looks fantastic and comfy! Hopefully, one day we'll live somewhere we can have a lawn--fake or otherwise! :)
I have to vote for fake, cause if your yard looks that good in az and ours looks like the grapes of wrath something is amiss. I do think it looks nice. plus no weeds or watering. definalty better even if it is unnaturally green. C
The above shot gave it away too easy... fake-o. But, fake is great because it's one less thing to take care of. Mowing the lawn does give Tate someting to do though. ;)
Yeah the backyard is coming together! The grass looks great! So I am going to have to agree with ya, we need to get together and do something fun... and soon!
I thought it was real when I first looked at the pictures. I think thats awesome that you used fake grass. Real grass takes a lot of water all year round and you have to groom it which takes time! I think this kind of grass is the way of the future, especially because people abuse water privileges!

I know I'm a bit late...but I think it's fake. Knowing where you live gave me a clue. ;) Rocks and fake grass is typical. It looks nice, though.
