This was such an awesome trip. I would love to make it an annual tradition.
Right outside our door was a beautiful view of the ocean and a sand pit that Erica played in for hours. Guess we better get a sandbox now.
A short ways down the boardwalk were 2 different parks. We spent hours swinging and playing on the playground. Even Sadie liked to swing. I didn't mind pushing this time either because I had a beautiful view in the background.
The water was a little cool for me, but I did get in once. Apparently, a huge swell came in the day we got there. The waves were about 10 feet high. Even Troy wouldn't go all the way out, so I know they were big.
Sadie loved the sand too and came away with minimal ingestion of sand.

Molly was a huge help. We are so glad she came along. Can't wait to meet her new baby in December.

Sadie slept in the closet of the one-bedroom condo (about 350 square feet) and Erica slept in the kitchen on some couch cushions. Comfy!!

That looks like a great spot!! So pretty right out your door. I can't believe how big Sadie is. It is weird that I totally missed her as a baby and I live so close to you. How do our paths not cross more often? So glad you got to go on this trip. That is a great picture of your and Troy!
looks like so much fun! next time when you come - CALL ME! i grew up goign to oceanside beach and we now live about 30 minutes from there. we'd love to see you!
You forgot to mention the unfortunate accident with Erica...and the cushions...hee hee! OMG, the picture of Sadie in the swing it soooooooo CUTE!!!! I love that lil' chunck-a-chunck! Ah, that beach trip was sooo fun!!! Did someone say Hawaii next Sept? :) I DID! Miss you guys!
What a great trip! You can't go wrong with a beach trip with kids. Sounds like a great time of year to go for me, even if the water was a little cold. :) I love all the pics, and I'm glad you got one of just you and Troy. :)
We're dang jealous we couldn't join you on this trip. Spencer is pondering about how we can move to the beach house next to you guys.
