My creative sister-in-law once told me about an idea: Tape quarters to the bottom of your kid's shoes and let them tap away. We tried it out today!! Bonus points to anyone who can name that song in the background.
Growing up in New Orleans this isn't very uncommon - I'm not talking about the adorable toddler dancing around, but the attaching of something to shoes. The homeless/street performers would attach beer bottle tops to their shoe bottoms. This version is waaaaaaay better than any drunk pan-handler. You may have a dancer living under your roof. Be glad the dance studio is right down the street!!!!
What a good idea! We don't have much hard flooring to tap on, but that is so fun. I'm not sure if the song was really "If You're Happy and You Know It," but it sure sounded like Elmo singing! :) Loved reading about all your pampering, and CONGRATS on being sworn in!! That was exciting to read about. I hope that was a darn good celebratory donut. :)

Did Kristin tell you about this? I don't know if you remember, but you and I went to visit her and Spencer when they lived in Provo... she put the quarters on one of her kiddo's! I did that with Kendyl too! She loved it! Erica is so cute! Miss you guys!
