I was enjoying reading everyone else's blog so much that it inspired me to catch up on mine a bit.
We were lucky enough to have my mom in town for Easter weekend. It was so great to have her here, even though she didn't feel well. My kids were totally spoiled with Easter surprises.
Erica scored the unicorn pillow pet that she had been asking for. She has appropriately name it, "Pinkalicious Cupcake Unicorn Horn Pet" and she, unfortunately, does not allow for shorter nicknames.
We went to my neighbor's for our annual Easter Egg Hunt.
I tried to help Erica with finding a few eggs. She informed me that she didn't want the eggs I had pointed out. I realized it was because they were the WRONG COLOR! Notice which colors were okay to pick up? Seriously? Does it matter what color chocolate is wrapped in? Apparently so. Sometimes, the only way I know we are related is because I actually birthed her.
Enjoying the loot!
Easter Sunday morning, we had baskets and dresses (from my mom) waiting for the girls. Erica woke up first.
Sadie signing "eat" when she saw the candy.

Sadie was not a fan of Peeps.

I think it's hilarious how girl-ified Erica is. She's Pinkalicious, even. I love it! My only hope is that our daughter loves high-heels more than Ian, which is actually going to be tough to beat.
I agree with Sadie -- Peeps are nasty! But I love those little girl dresses. Thanks for the fun post!
I tried peeps with my kids for the first time this year, and they did not like them either. I love Erica's pillow pet name. So awesome!
I love these!! Love the name for the pillow pet, love the ears, love the baskets on their heads! Super cute.
